View Full Version : ppc 6600 as a modem with vision?

I have been a sprint user for almost 2 years and almost every day I have been using my sanyo 8100 as a modem. I know that its a big no no according to sprint but i havent gotten any warnings and im even using the pcs connection manager from sprint.
I was just wondering if i can use the ppc 6600 the same way?

you *can* - i think it is frowned upon by sprint - the 6600 has winmodem included - you can connect to a pc using bluetooth or a usb port (the cradle that comes with the 6600 has a usb cable attached) - a driver is included with the cd also - use it when you define a modem to your pc - the faq thread on treocentral web site describes the process - it is in the forum section for the 6600

the number to dial is #777 - your logon id and password are the ones set uo for vision
