I turned on AIM fowarding and now I get the messages perfectly fine to my phone. But when I reply I end up getting a blank message from myself on my phone. Is AIM fowarding only one-way messaging? Or is it my phone?

Yes, it's only one way because we have sprint.
I suggest you use imforward.com
It does the exact same thing but let's you reply through SMS. No online needed.

That is the coolest thing EVER! Thanks soo much for the info. AIM through the Vision Portal is sooo annoying and Forward to Mobile is completely useless without the ability to reply. If these people can do this Sprint can do I just don't know why they are soo retarded and don't implement it. I have the 5600 which is a brand new high end phone and yet it doesnt support the AIM Application avialble through Sprint and the app is still annoying since u have to be connected to vision in order to use it which means you can't make or receive calls while on the app. That is retarded. FREE GSM phones have built-in Instant Messenger. Sprint needs to jump on the wagon quick cause they are looking lame. The only disadvantage to the IMForward is that you can't set your away messages from your phone, you have to set it from a computer unless they develop a wap site which won't be too bad. If I need to take a look at my BL I can just log in on vision. I don't really need to see who is on but I like to be available online for anyone who wants to talk to me and be able to reply. Truly amazing site and service. BRAVO. :tu: :waycool:

Yeah thanks. I actually found out about it right after I posted it up and have been using it ever since. Works really well.

SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and services to learn about and share information. We have cll phone reviews, Cellular Accessories, Downloads, PDA reviews, Ringtones, all of the latest Sprint PCS news and information, an area where you can find help in creating a ring tone or custom image for you phone, and so much more.
