How come you cant block a certain person from calling. If you go to the sercurity options on your phone you can block a certain number but when that person calls they are still able to get through. The only differnce is the phone wont allow you to answer the call but the phone still rings and everything. Is there any other way to block certain people from calling w/o calling Sprint to do so?

Sure there is....a restraining order.
Nothing stopping him from calling, until the fines for breaking the order overwhelm him...

So when he calls, your phone doesn't ring.

Better yet, make up a story about the person claiming that they somehow severely wronged society, and then tell the made up story on every bulliten board you can find. At the end be sure to include the unwanteds phone number as the contact number for the wrong doer!

I know the Treos can do this, but you have to download a piece of software for it... I can't remember the name at the moment. Callfilter maybe?

cant you call sprint and have a certain number blocked? i know one of my friends did this when someone was harrassing her, but im not sure if she had sprint or not.

Or if you want you do have the option of deleting this persons number from your contact list (if its there) and heading to Settings>Security>enter code>Others>Limit Use on your phone and only allow people in your phone book to contact you. All others will be sent to voicemail. Unless you rather not do this then call CS and ask to block a number for you.

Well, not saying to just delete the contact from the list and your done. Im saying after deleting the contact from list set your phone to only allow people on your contact list to reach you. Since the contact is deleted from the contact list he/she will not be able to reach you. Thats what I meant.

Doesn't this result in the phone still ringing, but being incapable of accepting the phonecall?
