I am not sure if this have been posted in any other thread but the sanyo mm5600 have the option to reject calls to voicemail. I know previous sanyo models just silence the ringer, but sanyo mm5600 does not. First you have to set the phone option not answer with flip and then test it out for yourself. I love this pHone!!!

Or you can just open it and hit ignore be4 the call picks up. The 7400 does this as well.

Good find tho! :tu:

Don't most, if not all, have the option to "ignore" if you have "open to answer" disabled? So those calls will go directly to VM.

Pm-325 has the same option. I have it set for TALK only to answer and END only to hangup.....and I do use ignore :)

I had the sanyo 5500 before I purchase my sanyo mm5600, you didn't have the option to reject calls and send it to voicemail. If you hit end it will only mute the ringer. However, the sanyo MM5600 have the option to reject calls to voicemail.

Thats really cool.

My 4050 can fall apart due to its crappy battery cover, beat that!

my 4900 is held together with scotch tape, and has cracks on all 4 sides. the tape is just so the battery doesnt let loose, and the phone turns off by itself

I forgot, how do you do that again ? also are they really on sprint's VM or the phone's personal VM.

Nevermind I firgured it out but it is not sprint's VM, it's the phones personal VM, some will be able to tell the difference.

actually, that would be the 'screen call' feature that you are referring to. it is implemented into most of sanyo's line up. the call is directed to the devices answering service which gives the caller a good 12(?) seconds to make a brief statement. after this, the caller is then forwarded to your actual voicemail service if you decide to not answer the call.

Does the Sanyo 7300 have call screening?

I've never owned a 7300 but, i would think that the 'call screening' option would be located in the 'voice services' menu, if it is available.
