I currently have a friend who is doing their best to ignore me and I have a really important message to give them. I know that they will delete any voicemail from me and that they will also not read my texts. What is a way i can send a message or text so that it pops up instantly when they get it so they have to read it?
I know on my phone it pops up instantly but he has the older phone Sanyo 8100 i think and it has this long drawn out process for getting texts, where they have to go online.
Ive heard this is possible, can anyone help or give me some other sprint tricks to get my message to them?

I'm pretty damn sure you can't do this.
Get her flowers and knock on her door. ;)

I think you can send it to xxxxxxxxxx@messaging.sprintpcs.com. replace the x's with the number. It should go directly to her phone.

hehe thanks mrtchman. but i decided im going to wait this one out...
I find it hilarious that u assume im a guy with a relationship prblem when all i said was friend. When in fact it would be a relationship prblem but im a she and HE's the one acting like a little *****.
p.s. Id still like to hear more ideas ppl would have to get a message across instantly or along those lines i only want to do this once and i want it to be good and effective. if only y'all knew the history behind this *sigh*

How about this?
I'm assuming you're on Sprint PCS also.
Call your voicemail.
Go to the main menu. (By default, press * to stop the autoplay of messages.)
Follow prompts to record your voice mail message.
After recording your message, you have the option of marking "read reciept requested."
This person will get notification of a waiting voicemail, but will not get your (or any other) number on their caller ID before the voicemail notification. When they call their voicemail to pick up the message, they'll get either your phone number or your recording of your name, depending on whether you've recorded your name on the voicemail system. (You might want to delete your name recording so your recipient is less likely to know the message is from you.) When your recipient plays the message, a voicemail will appear in your voice mailbox telling you the date & time of your message's playback and then playing a copy of the voicemail you recorded.
I've also used this when sending from my Sprint phone to a Virgin Mobile mailbox. It might work with other Sprint MVNOs.
Also, text messages sent from the Sprint website go straight to the phone.
You could try making a voice ringer of your message and sending it to their phone via focus.
Truth is, you might want to send a letter. I find that sending via Priority or certified tends to get more attention. Send a postcard.
By email, send an e-postcard or use paypal. Paypal payments have a comments field.
Or, maybe you shouldn't talk to this person.
Anyway, good luck.

if you log on to your sprintpcs account online, there's a link for text messaging. go there and below the box where you type the message there's an option for how to send it, choose SMS and it'll show up on his display the way you want it to

There is the java app out there (forget what its called, sendQ or something) that sends it right to the phone but that phone only allows like 30 chars since its really not supporting sms, otherwise it splits it up into multiple messages
But if they have the 8100, then they have to at least read the first few words because when you get a shortmail alert, it doesn't say who its from until you log onto your inbox, at which point your number/name is shown with the message scrolling next to it. if they see your name they will also see the first few words on screen.

agreed.. or buy him a new sms phone :) that will win him back and get his text's faster!
