so the screen on my sanyo 8100 came off in an accident. However i can still use my phone as long as i use the headset.
obviously i need a new phone, and i have insurance on it. My question is, if i call lockline, will i have to send in my phone before they will send my a new one? I cant go without a phone for even a few days.
so if they do make me send it in first, should i just say that i lost my phone?
ps what phone will i get in return from lockline?

You will get a replacement and a way of returning the phone when the new one arrives. As far as what phone, possibly the same model if they have one, or an 8200....... they have a list of "replacements" if your model is not in stock.
If you say you lost it they will want it reported lost to sprint also and you wont be able to use it at all then.

Thats terrible!
How on earth did you do that?
It's great that it still works though...
Yeah...lockline sends you the phone first, then put the pieces of your phone in the mail, and send it back to em.

Just say you lost it, they thought I said I lost it and didn't even include a package for sending it back

I wanted to underline what Halo1982 said...the advice quoted in this post is *bad* advice.
You don't want to end up with the Fraud Department's attention...
Why lie about it? U have a legitimate claim to make. Tell them it's broken since U wont have to send it back till after you receive the new one.
