Ok from what i hear u must have the open/answer feature disabled. Then click the menu option and there should be the option in there(Hint: Its not called meeting Mode anymore forgot what they call it)

Pages 23-24 of the unabridged manual covers the Answer on Hold feature. Apparently, when you get an incoming call, you have to press the right soft key, then scroll down to select Answer on Hold and press Menu/OK. The caller on the other end here's a robotic voice say, "Please wait. Your call will be answered in a minute."

Is that the same way it was implemented on the MM7400? Seems kind of cumbersome to me! Should be that you could just set it to that mode and every call that comes in would automatically hear that message when you initially flip open the phone. Then, theoretically speaking, you would hit talk to answer the call.

even if you have the phone closed you can answer the call on hold by pressing and holding the camera key. try it.

is there a way to lock the phone without going through all the menus? the best i've gotten is to assign one of the shortcut keys to "security" but i'd be great if I could just hold a button like than and go straight to phone lock. similar to the "key guard" feature on the candy bar phones. . .

You can just hold the "back" key down and turn on meeting mode on the 7400
