Is it possible to unlock a verizon phone, and use on the SprintPCS network? Also would vision work correctly?

No, and no. Sprint only activated print authorized phones. If you want to go to verizon with a Sprint phone.. go ahead. lol

It is possible to unlock a Verizon phone, but using it in the Sprint network is not.

Yes it's possible, but not worth it. I've done verizon to sprint and sprint to verizon, but there's subtl difference in firmware that you lose features. For example, versions voice mail is different from sprints. Verizon's is a service like a *69 or *72, etc... so you don't get the notification that you have a voicemail. This allows verizon to bill you for airtime charges, where as sprint treats it as a phone to phone call since you are dialing your wireless number.

From a mfg's(like samsung or handspring(treo)) standpoint, there's no difference. They can take an 650 or i600 and flash the phone with either carriers code. However, the carrier's techs can't they can only download upgrades for that particular carriers code.

Vision would be another hassle altogether.

verison phones are not locked. their msl is 0000000000000 or however many zeros fit in an MSL... sprint has a big master list of all their phones, and if you dont match the list, you dont talk. EOS.
