I just wanted to let everyone know, don't spend money on stereo headsets to hear MP3's, etc on the new Sanyo MM5600, because Sanyo designed the 2.5 slot differently, changing the thread, so only Sanyo approved will work. I went to Sprint store and tried it out, and he even comfirmed it by using approved and not approved. As everyone know, Sanyo only make a couple of stereo headsets, that are in ear only.

P.S. Hopefully Sanyo, or someone else will come up with an adapter that will use the same thread to let other headsets work.

there was a guy on here that said that the motorola stereo headset with turbo button works great on the 5600. I know i'm gettin the jabra c220s when it comes out! Sanyo sells headsets other than the one we got with the phone?

no, but there was a free offer when you purchase one, you fill out the form online and they ship you a free one...I tested it out with my other tech's headset
I just put a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter form radio shack in the headset port and I all of my stereo headphones work fine with it - I tried 6 different headphones.

You probably didn't have it pushed in all the way.

I ordered them also.
I found them at buy.com for $19.99. Free shipping on orders over $25, so I bought a CD the wife wanted.
I will post a review myself when I have a chance to use them.

I was just looking at them on the Jabra website. They look pretty nice. I would to hear the review and see if they actually work with the 5600. When u go to compatibility on the Jabra website it say it's not compatible. Keep us updated.

I want to get a stereo headset with my A700. Sprint is now offering them for free with new A700 purchases.
