Does anyone know if a firmware upgrade is capable of adding a playlist option to the mp3 player?

Maybe I'm missing something, but there is a seek "foward" option on the mp3 player, but is there a "rewind" option? I would like to go to certain parts of a song or video forwards or backwards.

If there isn't, can a firmware upgrade at the necessary features that many of us feel the mp3 player lacks?

sorry dude... from what i hear in these forums a discontinued phone gets no more frimware upgrades and specially not when puting a new feautre in... as for rewinding and fast forwarding,,, yeah you can totally fast forward just hold down the right arrow key when playing the song or vid or w/e .... you cant rewind though... they have it so that when you press what you would think should be the rewind key, it just skips you all the way back into the begginig of song or vid or w/e.... it sucks cuz when ur 50 mins into the movie and you missed the hot girl on her bikini part you cant rewind .....

yeah unfortunatly with firmware updates, the only a discountinued one will get it is if there is a huge issue which impacts customer useablity, such as the "can not make calls in active data session" bug with the A680

And to note the 5600 never had a firmware update out of all their phones. A first in Sprint history. :)

Might have had a "reflash." That were they reinstall your software, but don't upgrade.

Might, if you brought it in with that problem I would try that and if it didn't work you may need a replacement.
