I am having a hard time making a decision here for my next phone purchase.
I need to know which phone you guys think is the best.
Both have speakerphones, color screens, both are are two tone greyscale, both have alarms and SMS messaging and voice dialing but none of them have bluetooth, modem dialing capibilities or internal antennas.
I'm leaning toward the 6016i because I think it looks flier than the 5600 and also because the wall charger that comes with it is smaller than the 5600. I think the 5600 looks cheaper than the 6016i.
What do ya'll think? Please help, thank you!

Neither. You should get the Toshi 4050. It's the best phone evar! It's teh hotness. I heard once that a 4050 chopped down a whole forest with one swing of its mighty axe.

Is it too late for me to ignore the original thread topic and mention how great my Vm4050 is?

I still want to find one of those on display (a working one)......I want to bask in its glory! Or just see what its all about.....never really took a close look at it.

Is this for real? These two phones are at opposite ends of the spectrum in a lot of categories. Namely price, size, and bells/whistles. If you don't want to spend a lot, don't care about it being too compact, and just want a decent phone without data features, the Nokia. Otherwise the Sanyo.

Well, at least he told us all what he was going to do.
If you want something dirt cheap, go with the Nok.
If you want something to put you in debt for no reason other than to say you have the latest and greatest, Sanyo it is.
If you want a happy medium, I would have to agree that the Tosh4050 is the way to go. I kinda wish I didn't get rid of mine, but oh well.
If it wasn't for some stupid crap, I would be the owner of the 5600 too...but I finally got to play with one today at the Sprint store...eh...not really that impressed. Nice screen...played with the speaker......*shrug*...imo, it's far from all that it was hyped up to be...but that's just me. I'm glad for all of you who love yours though. =)

I have to agree with the Toshiba 4050 as a great medium. I have stalking the that phone for a while as well. If you get to see one in hand the display will suck you in.
I also finally got to see a 5600 up close and like [aatm] said, I wasn't bowled over. It is definitely a great phone, but once I got it in hand I was just like "unnn ok"

I agree. The speaker on the 5600 was DAMN loud when I used it with the MobiTV music channels, the ones that have just audio. They were also the only ones that didn't constantly get errors. The 5600 also seemed to randomly throw the last screen back at me, as if I hadn't exited out of it, and it was just "hiding" in the back. I really liked the a790, though, that was a beautiful phone. The 5600 really needs to have a customizable shell.
