My Alarm Clock Is Set To Go Off M-f @ 7am Which It Has But For Reason It Didnt Go Off Today The Phone Was Turned Off And When I Turned It On There Was A Window That Said Phone Off I Had To Hit The Power Button Again Can Anyone Explain This ?Was it pluged into the charger? the reason I asked is this happened to my p300 once before. The power in our area went out then came right back on causing what I think was a power surge to the phone. And even though the alarm works while the phone is off..it effected the alarm clock enough that it didnt go off.
If the phone says on top of screen "Phone Off" then you have switched the Airplane mode on. Just turn it back on.

if the phone is shut off and the alarm is set.....the alarm will go off.....when you power the phone on to shut it, i is suppose to shut the phone off....think about it.....is is actually pretty smart.....when you power the phone on to shut it.....it knows you didnt have the phone on and you are powering on to shut the alarm.....so it shuts off phone service and allows you to shut the alarm without you allowing phone calls to come in....if you want to keep your phone on....then just take it off airaplane mode.....if you want to keep the phone off.....then just power down and this way no one was able to call you if you didnt want your phone on to begin with.....

I use the alarm every morning plugged in, and has yet to fail me...which means it won't go off tomorrow morning..

Mine switched to Airplane mode once after the alarm went off. My phone was off and when the alarm came on it ask me if I want to turn the phone on? I answered No. But later powered on the phone and it was on Airplane mode
I turn my phone off every night and put it on the charger and my alarm goes off as scheduled. Never had a problem, I'd rather lose the alarm than have all of these dropped calls. :evil:

Does anybody know how to have it so that the alarm goes off but your normal text message and voice mail message notifications won't sound?
When I go to bed, I don't want to hear any of that, but I want my phone on in case something happens and somebody needs to call. I tried setting it to test it, and when I turned the volume to vibrate, the notifications come through loud and clear. I turned it to silence all, and of course, the alarm popped up but made no sound. I want the phone on, alarm on, notifications on but silent....I'm just not seeing this...too tired.
