I have found a way to receive the Sanyo MM-5600 directly from Sprint for an extremely low price. I received the phone for only $80.00 but your price could be lower or higher depending on the phone you currently use. If you wish to know the steps involved so that you too can own the Sanyo MM-5600 then you must win this auction.

I got this from him:

Please read before bidding:* I have found a way to receive the Sanyo MM-5600 directly from Sprint for an extremely low price.* I am willing to share this information with you for a nominal fee.* Although I cannot tell you everything, I can tell you that the process involves taking your old Sprint phone and trading it in for the Sanyo MM-5600 or any other phone Sprint sells for that matter.* You will be required to pay the difference in value of your old Sprint phone and the Sanyo 5600 or phone of your choice.* This is not a difficult process nor is it easy.* It takes a little time and effort on your part.* I do promise that it works, my feedback speaks for itself.* Save yourself some money and enjoy this awesome phone.* Mine only cost a total of $80.00.* This auction is for Sprint customers with the desire to obtain the Sanyo MM-5600 or any other phone Sprint offers.* This information works best for those with "problem" cell phones.* This auction is NOT for the actual Sanyo MM-5600.* I make a strong effort in keeping all of my customers happy, but I cannot refund your purchase after giving you the information.* Please ask all questions before bidding.* Send questions to taulce1@erau.edu* Thank you for your business.* Feel free to check out my feedback.* It speaks for itself!* Bid with confidence.

After you have read the above information, and if you are still intersted in my auction, you may now bid on it.* If you have any more questions please feel free to ask them.* Thanks again for your business.

It could also involve the handset trade-in program. That's only $75 max though. I've seen retailers supposedly offering the 5600 as low as $199. That's for a new line too. Anyone out there lower?

What else could he be offering?

He could be counting in service credit savings from scams and promotions toward the price of the phone.
Hmmm... trade your PDA phone in for $75
Refer a friend for a $20 savings.
Sign up for autobill and online bill for $10.
Call in all the dropped call credits... What is that, $20?
Then open a new line on your existing account.

$199 - $75 - $20 - $10 - $20 = $74

Okay, now someone give me $50, I take Paypal! :)

I live in Daytona Beach, and just emailed this guy...asked him if I, along with my friends from Sprint could meet him and find out if what he's doing is considered fraud. Wonder if he'll email me back... :eyebrow:

I believe wireless7.com was offering the 5600 for $179.99 for new activations. They always post in the deal forum.

These auctions aren't allowed on ebay. Someone else (I just did, always better if 2 people do) report him and all acutions will be ended within a few hours.

I sent emails to some of his winning bidders asking them what exactly it was they sold him and here was one response

I bought the "phone" after a brief look at the advertisement. The next day I got an e-mail from him saying he was not selling a phone, only information on to scam Sprint out of giving one to you after you buy a lessor quality sprint phone. I demanded a refund and he said "give me a pitive feedback and I'll return your money". Instead, I gave him three days to refund. He did not so I therefore filed a paypal complaint. Within 15 minutes he re***ed the money. He is a scam artist and I have already reported him to e-bay.

violation: putting an item in the title that you aren't selling
violation: fee avoidance - providing links/other info on where to buy elsewhere

I cant believe he's not down yet- someone else pls report him! its bad enough that he's a scammer but a RUDE one too - look at his FB and replies!

i wrote him and he told me that he wouldnt give any info until he got the money. i then emailed another user who had one the item and he told me that the way to get it for $80 was to do damge to your current sprint phone - take it in 3 times. after the 3rd time they will give you a new phone and tell them you want to upgrade the phone you have. the person told me DO NOT get the info from him - he is a scam artist trying to rip people off. Its people like him that is a cause of replacement phones going up for $35 to $50. It would be nice if someone would get him banned from ebay..

i know there was another post similar to this.i dont remember if this was the same person. someone left him 5-6 negative feedbacks.

most of the time they say if it sounds too good to be true - it probably is

the buyers need to report him.. he should be gone if they all did. that's ridiculous...can someone who works for sprint shut his account off or add $1000 to his bill lol....

I just looked and the 2 auctions he had up were removed - yay! im sure he'll just make a new name though

Can that be condensed enough to put it in his feedback?
"He said 2 brk ur phn 3 tms. Tell SPCS u wnt 2 upgr yr phn = $80 5600"
That would take the wind out his sails.

That shouldn't work anyway...

We have a strict policy on replacements, and if you damage your phone, then it's not a warranty issue, PLUS, if the store can't find anything wrong with your phone then they won't replace it no matter how many times you bring it in.

so true- my 680 broke (not my fault - all warranty issues!) 4 times in 10 months and they STILL wont upgrade me!

that is what he told me.. my guess in the auction, he has a list of things you can do to cause your phone not to work.. he wont give me anymore info until i buy(win) the auction. this was a response i got from one of the winners - it might not have been from this auction but a similar auction. listed below

Trust me..he's not selling the phones..just the secret..the secret's definately not worth 50 bucks.
