Anyone tried 96k or smaller .mp3 files on their 5600? How do they sound?

stick w/ 128kps or better.
they sound crummy under 128kbps ive noticed

I made one at 96, it sounded ok, at least compared to 48. But 48 is so much smaller. If your gonna us 96, you might as well go the full nuts and make it 128.
Edit: Oops, thought you were talking about ringers...

No, I suppose the question is valid for ringers, but I was wondering how they sounded just for playing back. I suppose you could go even smaller, to 64k, and if they sounded fine, that would be cool. Obviously, they still sell mp3 players with less space than 512mb, but every little bit helps, I would assume. I bet smaller files would sound better from the speakerphone speaker, or even the earpiece speaker, compared to using a headset. I would think that the quality issue would be more apparent in the headphones.
