In emergency situations where every second of every minute counts, solid dispatch technology that pinpoints specified origins of all calls, especially cellular-based ones, is imperative. Take Schneider Engineering and the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department in Indiana, who are currently working on a more reliable tracking system that not only designates the said locations of urgent callers within 300 square meters, but it brings up a map of the places as well. Improvements like these may cost some green; however, especially when they are implemented on a more national scale, hundreds--perhaps thousands--of innocent lives may be spared.
