Doesn't work. What is the correct format the picture should be in?

The manual states that unsupported files won't be seen. You have to have the data there in a DCIM compatible fashion. If you can't get the pictures on from the memory card, might I suggest uploading them to your online albums at http://pictures.sprintpcs.com or formatting them with Picasa or iPhoto to 240x320 and using something like http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/ or Focus (link at the top, might be acting up today) to upload the image to your phone.

Pictures came off my C-3020 Zoom and E-300, so they should be in the right format, only thing is I shrunk it to 240x320 using paint shop pro 7. Maybe I did something wrong? Don't know if I have picture mail or not.

the file size maybe too big, try reducing the filesize.
i use the windows xp power toy to resize pictures for my phone most of the time, you can find it at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

I tried getting my Canon Elph to recognize files I placed on the compact flash with a compact flash reader once. No dice. I used the software that came with the camera along with the usb cable to write to the card while it was in the camera, and that worked. How about trying that? If your camera came with a cable and transfer software, use that to send the file back to your camera, then copy directly from the camera over to the phone? That would help to ensure the file is in the proper format.

The resizing tool works, now I can see pix. It's weird why you wouldn't be able to see just a plain old jpeg file. Now if I can find a way to cut the side of the picture out, then I can make just facial pictures to assign to the contacts.

while the pic is still on the minisd card, you can goto (on phone)..
my pictures > in minisd > select the pic you want > options > display/edit
and somewhere in there there is a 'partial zoom' where you can zoom in to one area of the picture

or do it on the pc before putting it on the minisd
