So I went to download my pictures to my computer from the sprint site. Said it was downloading okand it seamd to go well.
But then I went to the folder and the icons were those little windows flags and asked me what I wanted to open with. Tried imiging and paint but they would not work.
Also the icons came labled as the album, not each picture. So what didi I do wrong this time

Why do they put stuff on there that dose not work????

Always when I say to download the picture......it just downloads it as a "file". You change the extension to .zip, and viola!

Probably the best thing to do is just to go ahead and keep them as albums (it's a zip file with alot of pictures, I believe), then make sure you actually have WinZip or some other extraction tool, and finally, either change the file extension to ".zip" before download or just go into the folder, right click, rename, and change the file extensions to ".zip" then.

2 cents. Works best for me.

As a side note, anytime you see those little window flags, what you're typically seeing is that Windows currently has no known program or application available to open those files. However, most often, it's just a problem with the file extension needing to be changed to what it's supposed to be. Once in a while, you really won't have the program/app. to open it--fairly typical with .pdf files, .tar files, .psd, .fla, .swf, etc. and files with anything other than 3 character extensions, except .html and associated file types (like shtml, etc.).
