MM-7400 vs. SCP-7300 (RL7300) SPEAKERPHONE?

I have had the 7300 for about 3 months. I love the phone, but one reason I purchased it was for the speakerphone (and it was $100 less than the 7700).

Little did I know that the speakerphone SUCKS and I am nearly fed up with it. People on the other end ALWAYS complain.

1. Does anyone know if the 7400 Speakerphone is any better?

2. Does anyone know if/how I can trade up to a better phone? I purchased the phone at Radio Shack and it has a one year warranty. Shouldn't it work better?

I (obviously) have the 7400, and I bet $100 any other 7400 user can say that this speakerphone is pretty impressive. If all you are using it for is to talk, it's pretty decent. Ringers and media in general, superb. But yeah, I don't think the 7400's speaker would give you any grief.

Yip I love the speakerphone on mine. I think its one of the best features on the phone. COmes in very handy for short calls while driving a stickshift and also so my wife can listen in when I call the teenage son while he is out ;) I think the seaker quality is pretty damn good for a half duplex.
