Is it a replacement for a phone or will it be a new line of service? You can get something nice if you'll be receiving an instant rebate, so your thread topic would be moot.

no it's just a replacment phone, and sadly no rebate will be given at this point in our contract.

Have you checked the Trading Post section of this site?

Nokia 6255 is a good phone- I know of nothing seriously wrong with it (some don't care for the keypad, and the screen is somewhat drab) Also, the 3205 is pretty much the same phone, only with a splashier design (some complain about the keypad, but I actually loved it on my 3200.)

You know, the LG 325 isn't a bad phone. It's a little over the $200 mark, but it's a good phone. The Nokia isn't too shabby. Hey, it makes calls and takes pics so it can't be all bad. I just think the chicks like the sleekness of a slider phone. Mind you, that's my opinion.

This one's over the $200 mark too, but the Sanyo 8200 is a common phone among girls around here. And of course, they're all red ones.

yeah i wanted to trade her my red 8200 so i can get a lg 325 instead, but she says the 8200's are ugly. she dose take a liking to nokia's though. i heard that the nokia 3205 was discontinued for thechnical reasons, so we'll probably go for the 6225. thank guys i aprreciate it :) .

yea you were smart in trying for that lol.....the lg325 is awesome imo. The 8200 is very good, but just some things I don't like. I bought my 8100 strictly because 17 months ago it was a $99 COLOR flip phone with camera which back then was amazing. I like a flip to protect my screen and because of style. Now-a-days, just get the 325 and protect the screen with th keypad. Good idea on Lg's part. Plus it has bluetooth. I don't like flips because of their bulk and unnecessary extra weight.

Um......nokia........come on.........who we kidding. I heard some bad reviews on the nokia first of all. Secondly, nokia has so many awesome phones........FOR OTHER SERVICES. They cheaped out with sprint just to give sprint a cheapy phone to advertise. The screen isnt special, the screen size isn't big, no features, and the quality is alright. Only thing it has going for it is the durability of nokia. Just chip in and get the 325.......you will be better off that way.

My wife has teh 6225 she likes it, although I wouldn't get it and we don't seem to sell a lot of them here. Camera works, speaker phone isn't that bad on it. The keypad isn't the greatest on it but it'll work.

well she's pretty clumbsly, and she wears he phones out like nobody else. this will be her 3 phone in probably 2 months. she's not really one for all that fancy jazz, just a simple phone that has text messaging and camera that will probably last until the summer.

From what it sounds like.......can any phone do that? lol

Then just go with the nokia.....wise decision. plus the fact that the 325 is so small she will be dropping that more than the wireless signal on the phone.

If a camera is that important. Idk......never used it except at the very beginning for matching my friends with the caller id

Yeah, my sister fell for the red 8200. She's hard on her phones, and man, Sanyo doesn't make a durable phone like Nokia does in the case of the 8200. I think the 6255 will serve her well, and I know of nothing wrong with the 3205 (it's got those wacky changeable faceplates- when I had my 3200, my phone was f-ing awesome because of it.
