I am using mp3trim and the files are 150 and high. Any more programs with smaller file. I am only allow like 10-12 ringtones to be saved on my phone.

lower the bitrate...the problem is, free programs are harder to be flexable

Downmix to Mono, lower the bitrate--perhaps to as low as 32kbs. Or use AAC/MP4 (.m4a files) instead.
