Is there a way to transfer games and applications to the vm4500 from a PC via a data cable? Also is there a way to transfer animated pics to the phone via PC? thanks for the help!!

Do a search for BitPim. It'll allow you to transfer wallpapers, calendar entries and ringtones with the cable. It's also free. DataPilot is another way to do the same things. It costs though

what about games and applications? i have bitpim for the ringtones and wallpapers...

Apps and Games for the newer phones (7400 that I know of) its in the Filesystem tab. Under Data->BREW->Apps / Games. Save the whole directory and it will save as a zip. then u can restore it as well. Even edit the trial dates if you are good enough with decompiling
