I have been super patient for the last couple of months waiting for the ppc-6600 to be released from sprint. Back in November I was told through someone at sales that the 6600 would be released in December (and I would get a call when they were received so that I could PRE-Order), then in december I read in the forums that the release would be delayed until Jan 25th (so I didnt bother calling to complain as I figured that the bugs are being worked out, which is fine by me)
Since Jan 25th has passed I got the itch and I called ....I got passed from SALES ---> Technical Support ---> Someone else in technical support ( and this guy talked to his manager ) and NO-ONE has any idea of the 6600.
When I told the last guy that sprint may be missing out on sales opportunities as Verizon is already selling the phone... and when I asked why werent they aware of the phone as there are articles out on CNet, engadget, etc stating that sprint will be selling the ppc-6600/6601....I got the speach that sprint may not carry (nor plan to carry some of the phones, plus because verizon offers the 6600 does not mean that sprint has intentions to)
Could someone make me feel better by straightening this out. I really need a new phone ( mine is acting up ) and I really want a convergance windows device such as the ppc-6600. What is going on?
Do I need to drop sprint ( which I have had not problems with in some 10 years ) and go to verizon?
