Sorry if this has been posted before, but if it has, I couldn't find it.

I have a Sanyo RL-7300 and I have followed the directions posted by Deval exactly. I make the file fine, but when I convert, I end up with a 0 kb file, and when I try to upload it to my phone, I get a 906 error. Any ideas what I did wrong??? :confused:

you forgot to down convert the wav file from mp3...you have to run it through sound recorder 1st and goto SAVE AS and the format I listed in the FAQ

no, I started with a wav file - but I did figure it out

When you click "save as" in the sound recorder program, you need to change the format from "PCM 22.050 kHz, 8 Bit, Mono" to "PCM 8.000 kHz, 8 Bit, Mono"

So not only do you have to change the settings in winamp - but also sound recorder.
