I have the unlimited night and weekend thing starting at 7pm or whatever... so does that mean I have free internet during that time? because I just downloaded at least 300 KB worth of ringers and my "Data usage" in the 4* account info still says i have only used like 40 KB or something? did they just not update it or something?

Vision doesnt take away from your minutes, in fact, it has nothing to do with your minutes. Like the post above said, you pay $.01 per KB if you don't have an unl vision pack. Unl vision is only $15 per month. You would be surprised how quickly you reach $15 when paying per KB.

Someone is bound to offer it sooner or later. I'm betting it will be one of the GSM providers since they will need to distinguish themselves and don't have PTT, etc. yet.

Why have free text messaging only during peak hours when you can have it unlimited for one set price. $10 without vision $5 with vision.

Wirelessly posted (Treo 300: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 95; PalmSource; Blazer 3.0) 16;160x160)
I've had about 10 sms sent to me today and sent 1 from my Treo 600 a' during Off-peak hours. My PCS still shows 0 messages used. last one was sent about 2.5 hours ago. I only have 100 a month. Is the website just slow to update?
I just don't want any surprises at month end.
Any info is appreciated.

thats using shortmail and not SMS though. I know, I asked today because I had unlmtd vision for 10 a month. I had to upgrade to a new vision pack to be able to add unlimited SMS messages (so in total an extra 10 dollars a month). But I got switched to a plan that is the same as the one im on now but is 5 dollars cheaper and I got a 5 percent discount because I signed a new 2yr contract. Except I was told Id get nights at 7 by someone on Friday and when I called today I was told I would be charged for that (no credits like the one im getting for pcs-pcs). Im calling back though because I see other people on here are getting the credit thing and I guess thats what the first person offered me.
Shortmail is fine, although sending-wise on the PM8920 SMS is just slightly faster. But Im taking that phone back ASAP.

if you had the original $10 vision from 2003 (?) or prior then unlimited SMS is included

Ohh yes......ty grandfathering :D
I'm already at 250 messages now......thanks to the sweepstake (basically, each entry is 2 messages.....the one you send, and the one you get bacK). Unlimited SMS is sure handy for this.
