okay, lockline game a choice between the 5500, the 4050, and the a680. I asked them to send the a680, well UPS just left and they sent a reconditioned a680 and a brand new in box 4050. Okay guys, now that I have received both phones, I don't know which one to keep. Also, last week lockline sent a blue 8200 and a red 8200, I am so confused. I need to make a decision quick because I need to send lockline the other phones back, so does anyone want to weigh in.....................

Depends on if you want a ultra-compact device (Samsung) or a large one (Toshiba)....
There are plenty of threads on this subject..do a search

I do still have my heart back in Sanyo land, but man that Toshi is the only phone so far that I have kept for longer then 6 months. I have had mine for almost a year and still love it.

Take the one with the 240x320 screen, the VM4050.
Besides, the VM4050 can play MP3 ringtones, if you fool the user interface with a .mid extension.

Wow... I'd take the Vm4050 and THANK THEM. While it depends on what you're looking on in a phone, feature wise, take that 4050 unless size is a MAJOR issue.
You have a great opportunity to try out all 3 different models. Take your time and choose wisely. 4050 might be good b/c it's brand new, but personally I'd take the A680 :D

I've had the Toshiba since April and have not had a single issue with it, unlike just about every other Sprint phone I've owned or tried...my last two were Sanyos and I personally found the earpiece to be extremely muffled...the Toshiba's call clarity and reception have been super in my personal experience...Sanyos are also very nice phones though...I personally like the display and the feature set (including the menu system) on the Toshi better, but as you can see, plenty of people are big Sanyo pushers as well...you should charge up and play around with both phones and see which suits you better...you are not going to get an unbiased opinion in this thread unfortunately...and don't by into the argument about phone size...the Toshi is not that big, as you can see for yourself, and fits fine in my front jeans pocket...I actually find some newly released phones to be too small...I can tell you that personally, I am so happy with the Toshi that I intend to keep it until Sprint releases a non-crippled bluetooth phone with comparable screen quality...the Toshi has already lasted much longer than my previous 3-4 Sprint phones...

this is a no brainer - new 4050 vs. reconditioned 680? but it's all up to you man.
