I have uploaded 3 ringers so far with no problem per se. The only "problem" is that they go into my Videos folder instead of my Ringers folder and thus I have less choices for the "Set As" option. The extension I'm using is ".m4a", is this correct? Anyone else having this problem?

thats weird...i'll make sure to test using my phone tonight, but everyone who as complained about that has not really changed the extention of their file, rather, they just tacked the .m4a onto the end of the file. Make sure that the computer warns you about the effects of changing the file extention...thats how you know you did it right.

After I use your method for creating AAC ringers and the file is sitting there on my desktop, I edit the name of the file by clicking on it and adding ".m4a" That's it. I don't really change the extension, rather I'm adding ".m4a" to the name of the file.

You have to go into Tools --> Folder Options, click the View tab, uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types", then click OK. Erase the current file extension on the file you want and change it to "m4a". Be sure to go into Folder Options and recheck the option.

How big is the file you are trying to upload?

I think my Toshiba VM4050 can only load files up to 128KB.
