I'm just curious, do many actual users even read the main page ? I know myself, I have the general forum set as my home page.

I don't think I have ever read the front page. Just clicked on forums. I have su/forums bookmarked.

I'd guess that a lot of users who don't visit the site every day may start at the front page... some people are -- it gets a large number of visits.

actually that one was a screwup... i clicked submit reply and it hung (dang cable connection) so i added to the post and hit it again... both of them went through. so i edited the original post out since it was a sorta duplicate.

but, in all fairness, i do post twice in a row quite often. darn fingers work faster than my brain.

Guess it does need a update.
