No. It's definitely overpriced. You can get a comparable Mpx200/220 from Cingular for around $200. If you want a Sprint smartphone, go for the Treo line for Palm OS or the PPC-6601 for Windows OS.

Nope. Total waste of a phone. For what it does, you could buy any J2ME enabled phone and do the same. It takes the PPC OS and completely neuters it by removing Office and giving NO worthwhile data input, either in the form of a QWERTY keyboard or a touch screen with a handwriting reco engine.

Well it is the "Smart"phone edition of Windows Mobile :hee: Can't expect too much.

Its almost as if Sprint owns a little piece of Palm- every Windows OS unit they do is overpriced. Thats ok with me, ill take my $50 savings and my Treo 650 any time. Especially when its compared to a phone that was out for a year with Verizon before Sprint released it.

Not to mention they charge double for the PDA data plans on PPC's.

Anyone know if Kyocera is coming out with a successor for the 7135? That was an awesome flip phone, but it had a primative 4.1 PalmOS. I sold mine before it was too late.

benifit: phone first, smart phone second. cool device, but DEFINITLY targeted at the enterprise users. if you pick it up and play with it you will hate it, but if you used it for a week you would love the navigation. I cant count how many time a day i am annoyed by the different screens in my 650 needing a stylus to be pulled out. and when you stop walking, your productivity stops... but then again it is stupid expensive. $650.00 is retarded.
