View Full Version : 7300 vs A740 Reception?

My wife has the Sanyo 7300 and has been having reception problems, even after the tech has checked the phone. A friend of mine has the new A740, and she got it because she was having reception problems at her house, but since she got the A740 she hasn't had any.

Based on these brief examples, I am getting the impression that the A740 may have very good reception, and the 7300 may not be as reliable.

Any feedback or observations would be appreciated.

Has she taken the phone to a Sprint store to see if it needs software upgrades?

Yes, I took it in the other night, and they did a software upgrade on the phone, but it did not help.

The reception problem is not everywhere, but it is in places that she didn't have reception problems with before this phone.

I really thing samsung has turned it aroung recepetion wise I had the a760 and the reception was excellent, But unfortunately the earpiece sucked IMO. I think samsung and sanyo should merge and then maybe come up with a all around solid phone.
