What program do you use to make your .qcp files? There's a website called www.3gforfree.com and they have files you can download to your phone, straight off your phones internet. That website also has a way you upload files you have already, but its only if you have files on your pc already, try it out though. Only bad thing is you have to pay $7 to access it. Good Luck.

don't forget http://www.sprintusers.com/focus/ the tool right here on this site supports qcp files :)
Another nice one I use is http://www.3gupload.com/ringtones/module/Downloads/action/PersonalFiles
its $10/ year for unlimited ringtones, games, apps, and more, but you also get a personal locker that you can upload your own files. This one is nice because the website knows what files are supported on your phone already, so you can just upload an mp3 file and it will autoconvert it to mp4 or AAC or QCP for you and make a GCD file to send to your locker or have texted to your phone.
I've been using them for over a year now and I love them. Great tools.

Hi Kewlazme,

no, I actually had a vision plan back when vision first came out. it was 400 anytime, 5000 N/W min nationwide, and PCS Vision for $44.99. Then when they made vision a separate thing, i was grandfathered into it, which means I got it free because I already had it before, they can't take it away from me. So now my plan is just for voice, but since i already had vision this whole time, they leave it as free for me.

Be sure and get the most recent development version of bitpim, 0.75. That one has support for the PM-8200 in it. I am just trying it now to see how well it is supported :-)

OK, I just tried bitpim and after not being able to transfer qcp ringers I found this in the notes:
"Wallpaper and ringers may be transferred to any supported Sanyo phone. Only PNG and MIDI files may be transferred."
.... "The ability to write ringers and wallpapers to Sanyo phones has many limitations. It is recommended to use the internet capabilities of the phone to load sounds and graphics."
So, no, bitpim cannot transfer qcp files to the PM-8200. I find the focus tool on this site works just fine for transferring ringtones I've created myself. Even without Vision, 1 cent per kB isn't too bad. A 30 second clip from an mp3 I convereted is only about 45 Kb, so that would be 45 cents.
At least I didn't spend much on the usb cable (eBay auction) :-)
If anybody has contrary information please let us know!

send it through a site called http://www.theward.net/sprint/ and send it to your phone.
SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and services to learn about and share information. We have cll phone reviews, Cellular Accessories, Downloads, PDA reviews, Ringtones, all of the latest Sprint PCS news and information, an area where you can find help in creating a ring tone or custom image for you phone, and so much more.
