View Full Version : 5% loyalty discount with other discount?

I just updated my plan yesterday and tried to have them add the 5% loyalty discount but the CSR said he couldn't do it because I already have a Nationwide Volume based discount. I know though that several people on here have more than one discount.

Is this really not allowed or do I need to call back and try to find someone who knows how to add it?

I was told the same thing. Paying my monthly bill is not a problem at all for me... but I would be interested to know how some people were able to combine more than one discount.

I have my military discount and the loyalty discount, both 5%. If you can try and call another rep and see if that helps anything.

i have multipple discounts....

combined they are for 35% off..

i kinda got lucky on the multipple discounts..

they emailed me with an offer for 1 at excactly the same time i was signing up under a nvp

so i emailed back n forth and got a fairly high up on the line supervisors supervisor i guess that did it..

anyway it can happen but it dosnt seem like something that happend all the time..

i am not a retention abuser..

Before I left sprint and came back I had both 5% plus 25%. The 5% was on there first. So maybe they can't add it to a NVP account, but visa versa.

I have added it both ways, it just has to under maximize offers for your account, sure you can just add it but that would be so wrong

Since you're military, you can actually up that discount to 15%, if you agree to a new 2 yr term.

I get 9% off from work for a volume based discount, and an additional separate 5% off from the Sprint Complete program...they are shown as two separate credits on my bill, but I definitely get both and have been for a while...unless the policy changed in the last year or so, you should call back for a rep that is actually willing to try to help...

I'm getting my 5% loyality discount (which I've had for about a year) and recently started getting my 15% public safety discount. My last two invoices show me as still getting both. Although there are a couple things on my bill I'd like to dispute, I just know if I call CS, something will get screwed up. So I'll leave well enough alone, for now

I too have multiple discounts, have made changes on my plan and never lost the discounts. And it isn't abuse... I have NVP for each of my jobs that comes up to 24% off my bill.

the 5% loyalty discount requires a two year contract renewal right?

I also have two discounts. I got the loyalty discount with out signing a contract (years ago) and my employer discount. 28%

My contract was due to be up in 5/2005. I went to the sprint store to ask about having to sign another when I buy a new phone and they told me only if i change plans. Anyway, I happened to ask if my employer offers a discount. They told me federal govt. employees get a 15% discount. I had them set it up for me and I ended up having to speak to the CSR on the phone. She said if i sign a 2 year contract I could get an extra 5 percent. I was happy because I was thinking I am going to get 15 dollars off of my plan every month! Anyway after being on the phone for awhile she finally told me (after entering everything into the system) that the discount was only applied to my minutes and not my entire bill. In other words, since i have the 40 dollar plan my discount only applies to that and not my vision, readylink, video mail, etc which are considered luxuries and don'y apply to the discount.

I only get 8 dollars off of my bill. Plus they got me for another two years! Oh well.
