hey everyone im new to the site and i just bought an LG pm-325. i just moved from texas to illinois and wanted to change my area code. when i talked to sprint they said that i would have to start my whole 2 year agreement over. this they said that they could just do it without any problems do any of you know how i could get a new area code number without any issues. thanx in advance

New area code requires a 2 year or 1 year contract, depending where you are at in your contract and the features you have. If you move into another market it may also require a new plan, which could be less or more than what you are currently paying right now.

If your credit can handle a second line get a new line and tell sprint you need another line in that area code.... hint have an address in the area code that your wanting. Then you need someone to foreward your mail problem good luck.

that or put in a change of address with the post office every 12 months, or just sign up for ebilling and save the $5 sprint gives you for doing that

Try a VoIP phone service and forward the number directly to your cell. It might be cheaper than having a second line and if you have high speed internet it can replace your landline too. Check out broadvoice.com.
