ive noticed that the flash on my 7400 doesnt really work at all. i compared it to a couple other sanyo's (4500 and the old 5300) and their flash worked fine.. the flash on the my 7400 is absolutely useless, and the night mode doesnt help it either. so it appear that taking pictures in the dark isnt gonna work.. is anyone else having this problem with their 7400?

It might be defective, as I have seen side by side comparisions of the night mode and there is a signficant difference.

yea i can tell a slight difference in the night mode and the regular mode as well.. but the main problem is that the flash is barely brightening the picture. when i take a picture in the dark with 2 different sanyo phones, one of them being my 7400, the flash is hardly noticeable at all. the same goes with the video camera light, the one on the 5500 works seriously 3 times better. so i was wondering if it was my phone.

yeah the flash isnt the brightest thing in the world with this phone

Yeah they gave it a smaller space. The flash for the 5500 was significantly larger.

the 5500 had 2 seperate flash led's on each side of the rainbow led

I've had terrible results taking pictures with my 7400 in low light. Fortunately, the poor quality low light pictures, and low memory, are my only two real complaints about the 7400. All in all, it's been a great phone.
