Does anyone know how to use downloaded pictures as screen savers on the external display of the A620? Or am I limited to using pictures I take with the camera? I can't find a way to transfer my downloaded pics to the picture wallet.

If anyone has any info, please email me at djredz@hotmail.com

Thanks

Only pictures taken by camera and saved to phone, or picturemail images sent to phone (also saved to phone) can be used for the external image on both the 620 and 680. Can't use downloaded images (unless you take a picture of it :)).

AFAIK you are limited to ones taken by the camera or downloaded into "saved to phone".

I have a thread about this currently going in the General Forum

I finally figured out a way to do it using SnapMedia. If you transfer an image to the a620 w/ SnapMedia, it will show up in the Review/Share section of the phone. You can then take that image on the phone and “Save To Wallet”. The image will then be available to use for the external display. It’s not a great method (because you need to have SnapMedia, and it involves a few steps) but it does work.
Hope this helps.
