You have to make sure you select "none" for picture id if you are using the video ringer for a specific contact. If you are using it for incoming calls then you can't have a color set in "incoming calls", it has to be none. I hope this helps.

I know about that, but I want to use the vid caller id with a ringtone, NOT the vid sound. Any ideas how you do this?

thats bescause you have the talk option on open meaning that when you have a phone call and when you open the phone it will answer the call set the optuion on no action in setting ,others then scroll down to open close flip then set it as no action under open. then when someone calls you you can open the phone and preview the video and the sound as a ringer/video id

Ok, you are NOT understanding my question...
once again... I want a RINGTONE (such as AAC) to play with the video for caller id, INSTEAD OF the video sound. Can this be done? How?

i understand what youre saying. did you find a solution yet? its pretty pointless to play a video when someone calls, if you cant even hear it ring.
