Could someone please help me out here.. I have been able to upload ringtones to my phone that are in the .gcd format.. No problems.

Now I am trying to upload screensavers to my phone and I am getting an error message stating... "content size mismatch" ... I have no idea why this is happening I am doing everything the exact same way I did for making and download thing ringtones..

example .gcd file

Content-Type: image/jpeg
Content-Name: Hot
Content-Version: 1.0
Content-Vendor: Nothingface
Content-URL: http://nrt.myftp.org/hot3.jpg
Content-Size: 3199

Can anyone please help me out here?

Thanks,
Chris.

Because that image's size is 3645 bytes... not 3199..

Try using another uploader. If that doesn't work, let me know.

Yep, If you're trying to use a gcd file, it is very important to use the exact file size. If you are using windows and viewing the files properties, note that you should be using "size" and not "size on disk" ... also, shut your phone down completely ... pull the battery out ... (lose all of the phone cache) .. and try again. If the same thing happens, could be that "sprint" has cached your gcd file (they do that). If so, just try renaming the gcd and song file and try again.

Good luck!
Louie

I could be wrong, but I think the content mismatch is because images are the right pixel dimension but the wrong resolution. One I was trying to get from dbringers was 96ppi. I resampled to 72 at the right pixel dimension (240 x 320 for my phone) and can now use it. I must add that since I couldn't download directly to the phone because of the error, I right-click saved to my pc then copied to miniSD after resampling.

Let me add that to fully test would have to resample and upload so another user could try to download to their phone.
