I was just looking at myphonefiles.com and wondering if I could somehow hear the ringer before downloading the qcp file; what if I don't like it? This is from my PC by the way--not sure if it works differently from the phone (but that's not my concern for the purpose of this post). How do I preview a qcp file?

yup, if you download the latest version of Quicktime by Apple it should install a plug-in to InternetExplorer to play them. Thats how i do it for my site.

on myphonefiles.com you can (on your phone and unless it's changed) click the name of the ringer you want to preview, to d/l the file click the link under the name.

Hi Guys,

I need some help- I've created a ringtone for my PM-8200, sent it to my phone, but keep getting a message that I need a plug-in for the file I am tring to load, where do I find a Plug-in for my phone, and am I using the right format (AAC?) I have a MAC, so I haven't been able to find any free software to do what everyone else is doing. Please help- Much Thanks!

The 8200 doesn't support the aac format, you'll need to make it a qcp file. I am not sure how to do this on a mac.

but here are instructions how to do it on windows, maybe you could get an idea. or someone else maybe able to help you batter than what i could.
