iGo Car Charger?

Does anyone use this car charger with their cell phones. I think this charger zapped my a700. The phone was fine until I believe after I used the car charger then the backlight wouldn't light fully it was dim, so I got another phone now I'm a little hesitate to use it again. Let me know what ya'll think!!

I use it on my 7400 and my 8200. It works great, never had a problem. Been using it a few months.

Same Here Use It For Months never had a issue. I even use it on my laptop. I myself think that you had a bad phone and nothing more or less.

IGo stuff is great. if you do think you got a bad one get it replaced under warranty

You may want to check and make sure you received the right tip with the phone. I think an A700 takes the A00 iTip. If you went into a store and they sold you the wrong tip, you should take it up with the store.

I have had mine for a year and its been horrible. :irked: I have had constant problems with the Igo products. It works off-and-on. The tips are slow to come available. Mine just blew up and the customer service has been HORRIBLE. Unless you like sitting on the phone to Arizona...save you money. Eventually another company with more ability and better customer service will come along and replace this failed attempt.

Mine is 2 years old, and I love it. I have a tip for my Ipod, and cell phones, and even my digital camera if I need to. Since I have gone through a lot of phones, I even have a collection of 'guest tips' so I can charge my friends phone when they are in my car if they need a boost. I did buy an igo this christmas for my brother, and my Ipod tip wouldnt fit in it, so I guess they changed their design, maybe because of a lawsuit. Still a great product though.

i use it for my Q (bought the razr tip which i used with my 6700 also), and m1, and ipod, and used it for my treo 600 also, i lost the m1 tip recently tho, ill just buy a new one 9.99 beats 14.99+ for a car adapter

Ive had my igo car charge for over 2 years no with problems. Ive used it to charge a lot of different devices, PSP, Ipod, multiple cell phones. Ive had my home charger for maybe 1.5 years. it could be longer ive used it for the same devices with no problem. And currently I have an IGo Juice plugged into my laptop that i am typing on.

o and btw dont use the razr charger with the 6700, you can damage your phone. The correct tip is a53, but a29 will work as well.

the razr one will not the 6700 is 5v 1a the razr adapter is 5v 900ma hence 100ma below the requirement which in no way can damage the device

For my RAZR, I went to Meritline where some guy posted in Accesories that the car charger was $5.99 and free shipping and a code for $3 off, so I got two of them for $2,99 each

I've used the iGo products for 2 years now. I haven't had any problems. I use it for a Blackberry, RAZR, 4 or 5 different Sanyo models, and my iPod. The correct tip for the MM-a700 is "A00." I have a ton of those tips by the way. PM me if you need one.
