The bug that was reported a long time ago is still in Sprint's system. My nephew had subscribed to an application, Mapquest Mobile, on his old Sanyo 8100. The application is a continuing one, with a monthly fee.
When he switched to a Sanyo 7400 on Christmas, the application was marked as not downloadable to his new phone. But the application could not be unsubscribed either--not on his phone and not on Sprint's Web site. Sprint's tech support person could not unsubscribe it either. All he could do is create a trouble ticket.

Deval - in that case I would like your opinion....
The only thing I can think of doing is converting back to my old phone / ESN which was a Samsung N400. Then unsubcribe to the application that carries a monthly fee. Finally converting back over the the newer phone / ESN - which is a Samsung MM-A700. Of course I would wait a few days before changing back and forth with the phone....

Have you tried unsubscribing through MapQuest on your computer? I didn't look too much into it but if you go to their homepage they have a section dedicated to Mapquest Mobile/Wireless. And if you can't find it there have you tried contacting Mapquest so they could cancel it themselves?
