I am in need of a new phone but don't want to fork over the full price. I am currently looking at the LG-PM 325. I have been a Sprint customer for 4+ years and my current plan has 3 lines of service. I was told I could get the $150 mail-in rebate if I sign up for another 2 year plan. I purchased my current phone last November. When I checked on sprintpcs.com, I found that one of the other phones on my plan (another family member) is eligible for the rebate, so could I somehow tell them I am replacing that phone with the new one but actually replace mine?
Thanks for the input!!

you have to have the new phone on the rebate eligible account until you get your rebate check. then you can esn swap.
