I'm new at this, and I'm unsure of which filetype games need to be, because when I upload the jar files, and then start to download it on my phone, it tells me that the "content isn't supported". Is there something I'm doing wrong or what?

If your phone is still VI660, then your phone is capable of running Java. So, most applications for cell phones are written in Java, which uses .Jar extension.

There are many web-sites that offer free Java games.

What sites would those be?

Try searching for "free download."

The correct file formats for programs for cellphones is .jad & .jar

You cannot just send the jar directly to the phone or download the jar directly. Use an uploader which creates the jad for you.

I believe all J2ME phones use jad/jar. There are other types like symbian etc which do not use the same stuff.
