I spent last night creating this site and trying to make the gcd files work the hardest past of all............. i've tested the site on my VM 4500 and it works pretty well, i was wondering if the rest of u could test it out and sent me some feed back the site url is http://pcs.xlgn.net thankx

Cool, what's the trick to making the downloads work? I tried posting some on my website but they don't seem to work. I used the gcd files and everything but to no avail. Do I need to set a mime type or something?

You should comrpess your images more. Those wallpapers are too large in size for how small the images are :)
Good tip, if your running Windows 2k or XP, open the image in MSPaint, and then click save an close out (MSpaint..how simple of a program it is....is excellent at jpeg compression ^_^).
Also, please tell me how you got the gcd files to work. I tried multiple times before trying to put them onto one of my servers, and I could never get them to download properly by phone. If you have any instructional material that helped you out, please do send -_^ (I will give you an email if you need one to send it to)

Thank you. Last time I tried, I might have forgotten a few of the mime types. Sadly I did have the gcd one in there. I will make another attempt at it with this information as soon as free time permits. Thanks a bunch :)

Must be getting a lot of traffic, took me a minute to connect...Looks good tho!
The "screensavers" link is dead.
The design is good tho, loaded very fast for me once I got there even the photos loaded quickly, once you get some more content...you'll be getting steady traffic before you know it!

It did not work :( I tried adding the mimetypes like you said. They are all in there, but when trying to download the file from the site (from the phone), it says..
"WARNING! Please install plug-in after this download. Content type is not compatible"
Clicking continue, the cell phone tries to download an then says "Data missmatch" and install failed :(

I do not see whats causing it...It could be that I have 2 midi mimetypes now? one that is /midi, and one that is /x-midi (the /midi was already a preset in the server).

You're right!! I changed th gcd file to say audio/midi and it worked :) Maybe its a difference of OS's? Maybe dirtlegdan's server does not run Linux (BSD, Win..instead maybe)? Heh What matters is that it works now! THAT ROCKS! I am going to have some fun with this...when I get the free time :hee:

site looks great and works flawlessly for me. Easy Navagation and a good start on some content. I'll be checking back so work on getting some more content....I personally would like to see some talking ringers in the ringers section. I like using voices for my txt/voice mail notifications and most places just have music...or lines that are funny, but too long, or I wouldn't want to hear more than about 30 times.
I do have 1 question....when I was a teenie bopper it was OK for me to think other teenie bopper celebs were hot....but now that I'm 24 is it still OK for me to think Lindsey Lohan is HOT!!!!
