Hi,
I have been reading through the threads about people being able to leverage leaving sprint to get different retention deals (I have done this myself in the past but did not know what it was called). I have also read alot of peoples signatures where they talk about the plans they have.
Before I describe my deal, it seems to me like their is a large risk that as the general consumer public becomes better educated about leveraging Sprint (or any other firm) Sprint will have to stop being freehanded with discounts and specific 'retention programs' lest they get taken advantage of.
Here is my plan I have had for about 2 months since I went over minutes and struck a deal with Sprint...
for $65 total I get 1200 anytime minutes, free sprint to sprint minutes and free nights and weekends (standard hours). I am not in a contract right now.
I can afford $65 (just) but 1200 minutes has been stretched a little thin and all it takes is one month way over, and I may as well be paying alot more if you amortize the overage.
What do you knowledgable folks suggest I try and negotiate with them for?
Thanks and happy xmas!!
Sandy
