I'd assume not coming out anytime soon, eh? :(

Seems like we've known about this phone forever, but it's taking soooo long to come out... What gives?

There is no official release date and you will not see it in 2004.

What DF said. We've known about a lot of phones for a long time, and they're not out yet. Case in point: LG MM-535, Sanyo MM-5600, and all those other two Samsungs...they're not out yet either.

Supposedly, there's a world phone, and a smartphone coming... I don't know if those have been cancelled or what.

Thing is, we've even had detailed pics (and specs) of the 535 for quite a while and still have no idea when it's coming. The 5600 just popped up on Phonescoop.com out of no where, so it looks like it coming out pretty soon...

I'd assume there has been problems with the 535 - That resulted in it's production being postponed. :eyebrow:

LG rep guy said it was supposed to be late Feb on the 535...which translates into March/April/May in terms of when it will actually launch.

lol yea it looks bad, but if it was the only version made of it, i would think it looks ok actually.

Phonescoop is not considered an official 'release' site therefore, it has not been announced of timeframe. It is coming, but this is not like video games, there are no such things as 'hard timetables'. Or let me put it this way, would you rather they have it come out say like 'tomorrow' with bugs? untested? half the features working?

OR would you like them to test it, build it, program it, finalize it, and make it as close to 'ready' as possible?

Phonescoop is pretty good, though. I'll be giving this phone a good hard look, along with the Sanyo 5600, although LG tends to be the opposite of Toshiba- they don't give you enough customization options.

I think the TelUS one looks svelte, but the Sprint one's about as pretty as the Vm4050- not ugly, but it takes some adjusting to.

I think they're both ugly. That speaker grill looks hideous.

I want this phone. In my humble opinion Lg makes awesome phones and thank God they're finally making some for Sprint.

still no bluetooth. worthless with all the new tech into a phone and they leave bluetooth. i don't care about cameras or video. nice to have but least throw in bluetooth

there are actually more than one set of FCC document links at the phonescoop site. Check out the ones with the 2004 date.

... Maybe a stupid question .. but what does mp3 player mean? It's just for ringers right?
