I sent Sprint a complaint email noting that without OBEX and SyncML support for the LG 325, the Bluetooth technology was truly wasted. I got an interesting response that could suggest either/both of these could be on the way:

"We understand how frustrating this would have been for you. Rest assured
will assist you with regard to your issues on the LG 325's OBEX and
SyncML capabilities.

The Sprint PCS LG 325 is currently not capable of the Bluetooth
functions: Object Push Profile (OPP) and File Transfer Profile (FTP).
The mentioned features allow the transfer of electronic business cards,
contact lists, pictures and other objects to other Bluetooth capable
devices. We have noted this issue concerning the said handset, and rest
assured, we are doing our best to address this matter effectively.

At the moment, the best we could suggest is for you to consider browsing
through our list of Bluetooth devices which may be capable of the
mentioned features. You can do so by logging on to the following

We appreciate your patience and cooperation on this matter.
