Radio Shack (Dallas Area) - LG PM-325 to be released on Fri 12-17-04

I stopped by one of our local Radio Shack stores and the salesman told me that the SprintPCS rep was there yesterday and dropped off some new phones. He also said that the PM-325 would be released tomorrow (Friday 12-17-04).

The strange thing about it was that he didn't even know what the price would be!!! :eyeroll: He then tried to tell me that they were the first ones to have the phone and then I "WHIPPED MINE OUT AND SHOWED IT TO HIM.... HE WAS QUITE IMPRESSED" .... umm about the phone that is :D

So for those of you who live in the DFW area and are still looking for a LG PM-325 try your local Radio Shack tomorrow morning!! Good luck everyone.

Amazing, if true. And lame as well, because none of the Sprint stores in my area (San Francisco) have the faintest idea when it arrives. :evil:

I had a sprint manager yesterday tell me that sprint will have the 325 before any other store. He said it's against policy for them to sell the phone before Sprint get's them in. I was going to go back in to pay my bill and show him my new 325 but don't want 10 employess coming over and messing with it. lol

This thread rocks! I got mine from Radioshack tonight, as a result of this thread... So far, I'm very happy with the phone. I paired it up with U-Connect and my Motorola BT headset.

Radio Shack had them this weekend in CT as well. Hell, even crap third party retailers had them before my company, which is the largest dealer in New England.

As of today (Sunday), none of the Sprint stores in San Francisco have them. The Radio Shacks do, though. I have to do my phone exchange through a Sprint store (since that's originally where I did the upgrade). The Sprint stores are saying they're not expecting them till January or February.

Several of our Radio Shacks have (had?) them in...none of our Sprint stores did. When I asked the Sprint store, I was told 3 weeks. I'm loving mine!
I checked online and RS in the KC area has been selling out of them quickly.

Ah no prob Ms Randall. Maybe this is a stupid question but as you know I already used my upgrade to pick up the 4920. I'm within my 30 days and would like to exchange the 4920 for a PM-325. I thought I'd have to do this through the Sprint store I originally upgraded thru.

BUT! Couldn't I:

1) return 4920 to the Sprint store
2) cancel 4920 rebate form I sent in
3) buy pm-325 from RS
4) send in pm-325 rebate form? :p

My Store (RS in Minnesota) got two and sold em..... Good luck finding em.

We had a guy from the Sprint Store across the street come in, just to see look at it. Since they wouldn't have it till next week.

What kind of vehicle do you have u-connect in? I have a Jeep Liberty and have thought abouut getting it. I would like to see what someone else thinks since my dealer does not even know what it is.
