Haven't even taken it out of the box yet (but I did verify that there was a phone in the box). There are a few RS stores in the Baltimore area that got them in yesterday. Most only got 2 handsets. But one has 8. Anyway, most other RS stores around the country I imagine will have them in a few days at the latest.

also, $229 before tax if anyone is curious. some were thinking it would be $249 per the mailer. but that wasn't the case.

Good for you, looks like you are all set. Let us know how you like the new phone. I tried visited the radioshack.com web site and attemtped to locate the "find availability..." box but could not find it anywhere on the page. So I called my local RS store in the Dallas area and no luck but they are expecting them on Friday.

thanks. put in "17-2619" in the search box at the top of the RS homepage. that will take you to the 325's RS page. then you should see the place to put your zip code in. when you hit 'go' that will pop open a new window and show you locations. it will also show you availability. you do the ctrl-a thing just so see how many units they actually have. but the site is accurate as to whether they have them in stock in the stores or not.

My radioshack in the Buffalo NY area, just got 3 of these in. If you're interested in buying one come on in, I'm almost always working. We're the RadioShack at the corner of Transit Rd. And Losson Rd. in Depew... in the Wegmans plaza

Thanks for the accurate instructions but still no luck, none in the Dallas area.

i picked one up from a radioshack in ohio. It's not as cool as i expected/hoped, but better than the nokia 6225 that i was going to get, though it doesn't feel as solid. Is it just me or does the reception not seem too good? it goes into roaming what seems a lot faster than my old sanyo 6200 (which i loved but only replaced b/c the screen cracked), but I have yet to really use the phone. I hope the slider thing holds up

the keypad is a bit more plasticky that i expected. but still, it feels pretty solid. i also hope it holds up. reception seems great to me so far. go by DBs and not bars. i think its bar scale is pretty conservative.
also, fingerprints show up really heavily on this phone's smooth, dark blue surface.

Looks like they're showing up a few at a time all over the place. I put my name on a call list (evidently the only person for that phone) at one of the local stores, and they actually called me! Picked it up about an hour ago. They said they only got 2 in (and they'd already activated one as a display.)

I wasn't lucky today. I guess there were 2 in ohio. I have probally 10 radio shacks close by but the one that had is 45 minutes away and I didn't feel like driving that far to get it.:( My girls 4900 is driving me nuts. :( Hopefully tomorrow.

What don't you like about it? I get bored after 3-4 months with the same phone. I sold my 700 to get either the 7400 or 325 which I going with the 325 first because I want to try the bluetooth. I know prior to buying the 325 that it's not going to have the featurs like the 700 but the size and price is good.
I went to a sprint store yesterday and asked if they had the 325 and he not yet and I said some Radio Shacks have them just not in Ohio yet. He told me that sprint always gets them first and it's against policy for other stores to cell them before sprint gets them. He doesn't know what he's talking about right? It annoyes me when sprint employess/mangers feed me a line of bs. I guess us sprintusers should have a symbol or something to let them know that we know phone stuff.

I found 1 in the Central Florida area RS on Colonial over by UCF. I reserved one with a rep there, and there's 1 left, AFAIK.

Well i hope you people end up having good luck with this phone, LG has yet to make anything worth trying in my opinion. Between them and Audiovox I dont trust any of their product. Bluetooth rocks, but i'll wait for a Samsung or Sanyo offering in it. I'll just let my Jabra BT headset and Nokia BT carkit sit until then.
7400 or 325?!? How can you question it.. besides the price, there is NO way that the 325 can hold a candle to the 7400.
Ohh and don't forget, most any slider phone ALWAYS seems to have serious issues with the slider.... kyrocera, siemens, nokia just to mention a few that have tried

:good: and thats exactly why I'm gonna hold on to my 5500 for a week or so before:
submitting the 18mo HUP Rebate
Selling my 5500 to friend
etc...
Thank goodness for the 14 day return policy. Obviously its not as buggy as the T608 [maybe no OBEX, but anyways], but if it has any problems- back to the shack it goes.
But on the other hand, I'll end up banking on the deal- I'll make 80-90$ since I'm selling my old phone. Don't ask about the 18mo HUP & vm4500. Sprint's MIR system is retarded, so it says I qualify. I verified with multiple reps, and the sprint rebate site says I qualify- so its all good, of course, I think its partially due to the fact I haven't received any rebates on any phones since my N400...

Mine is in the mail, but if it is close to the T608 in bugs it is going back and I am done with Sprint.

Got mine today. :D I also got a motorola bluetooth headset HS820 and holster. The headset was $63 I got 20% off of $79 I think which saved me $16 and the holster was $8 not sure reg. price. Not sure if I'll like either but I can just return them if I don't. To get the discount he said he had to do it at the time of purchase. Phone and headset are charging.

Not sure when sanyo or samsung is coming out with a bluetooth phone but when they do I'm sure it will be at least $300. I guess don't knock it untill you try it. I have never used bluetooth before and will see how I like it. Using half duplex speaker phones are ok to check voicmail, bank, custormer care but they suck trying to have a conversation with. I can care less which phone is the best as long as it works for me.

i wish i had known it was 20%. the woman at RS told me 10% and said the headset (i assumed they only had one with that deal because of the way she said it) was $100. i wonder if i can take my receipt in and get 20% off of a headset in the next few days.

I didn't want to get the headset because I didn't know if it was any good but the manager was helping me and I asked can I come back and get it in a week or 2. He said I had to get it now and if I didn't like it it I could return it in 30 days. They have another Motorola HS810 and I think it's $99. It comes with a neckstrap and somthing esle I think but it has 1hr less talk time.
Not sure what the other differences are. I would just go back in there and ask them and if they don't do it, see what they say if you tell them your going to return the phone.
