Does anyone have any unlocking codes for nokia 6016i?? I have seen them online but you have to pay for them. (I didn't see the code.) I want to know where I can get free unlocking codes for nokia 6016i or any regular code hacks.

6285 should work to unlock your phone. try last 4 of social, phone number, 0000 or 9999. One of those will get u going for shure unless you have changed it to something yourself.

Kinda think he was looking for the code to access the phone, take it to another provider. The MSL code is it?

Usually, it means that you would have access to the programming menu without having a lock code or MSL generated by Sprint.

more often, unlocking is referring to unlocking the SIM card on GSM phones. It's a GSM carriers way of preventing you from using that phone with another carrier.

Sorry......won't happen. Nokia 6016i = Sprint = CDMA.

Again no.

6016i is a CDMA phone, and Cingular/at&t is a GSM carrier.

Different cellular technologies.

at&t
T-Mobile
Suncom = GSM

Sprint
Verizon
Alltel
US Cellular = CDMA

It's funny though, the nokia 6016i does have a sim card slot.

Probably because Nokia always made phones for Cingular. Probably just there but doesn't work. I actually had no clue that it had a sim card.
