Hey everyone. I was wondering what is going on EV-DO wise at Sprint. Are we almost done installing on ALL the towers? Anyone have a list of phones that will be compatible with losing their heads? Just wondering... :rolleyes: Thanks! -Jared

Topher694 doesn't work for SPCS any longer. He has a better gig now.

I can get a rebate as of the first of the year, so I sent Sprint an email asking about EV-DO - I'm not buying a new phone until it's available - and this was their response.
Sprint expects service to be available in the majority of top metropolitan markets in the United States in 2005. Existing phones and PCS Connection Cards will continue to work at current speeds. To take advantage of EV-DO speeds, you will be able to purchase EV-DO-enabled phones and Connection Cards. The exact date of launch of EV-DO-enabled phones and Connection Cards is not available right now. As soon as launch date is available, you will be informed through our Web site.
