I recently signed up my wife on a family F&F plan, with a VI-660. She got the phone and started playing with it and found the Internet/Vision features and started to read CNN, etc. I gather from this that Sprint already provisioned her phone for Vision, without even asking, and even though NO phones on this F&F plan are subscribing to Vision.
I then called Sprint, actually about another matter, but then the CS said, "Gee this 3rd line (my wife's) has incurred some Vision charges. In fact over $5 worth. Would you like to sign up for the $5 Vision service on this line ? The first two months would be free, and then $5/month afterwards. I will back-date it to when the line was started". I said "sure", figuring that at least it is a way out of the $5+ non-plan Vision usage that my wife already incurred.
So, no other phones on this plan have Vision. In fact the primary phone on the plan CANNOT get Vision as it is not a Vision phone. And now this CS says that this new 3rd line will get Vision as a sub on the plan for $5/month. What is going to happen ? Is this "okay" ? Or this Sprint going to flag this later and insist that it should be $15/mo instead of $5/mo ? (We would never get it for $15/mo, probably not even $10/mo, but $5/mo is probably ok. I doubt my wife will use it that much.) Is this a mistake or the correct application of the Vision for $5/mo for sub-lines rule ?
